Consultation

We start by getting to know you — your lifestyle, your history with brows, and what you're hoping to walk away with. No pressure, no assumptions.

Numbing

A generous application of numbing cream is applied and left to work before anything begins. We take our time here so you're genuinely comfortable before we proceed.

Design & preview

We design based on your natural hair flow and facial structure then connect every stroke into your existing pattern. You see it. You approve it. Only then do we begin.

Procedure

Every stroke is placed at the correct dermal depth — shallow enough to fade naturally, deep enough to hold definition. No migration. No grey bleed. Each stroke connects into your existing growth pattern so the result reads real at any distance, in any light.

Aftercare

A full aftercare kit and written instructions go home with you. The way you care for your brows in the first week shapes how they heal — we make sure you leave knowing exactly what to do.

A method that restores sparse areas with line-work, the finish blends seamlessly with your natural growth to achieve natural, fuller-looking brows with a clear structure.

Our method builds soft, airy dimension with a machine. Microdots diffused and layered through the brow to mimic the look of softly filled-in makeup. The finish settles into a soft, powdered effect.

What are semi-permanent brows?

Semi-permanent brows — more commonly known as embroidery — use pigment applied to the upper layer of the skin to create the look of fuller brows. Every studio works differently. At archt, the focus is always on results that look like yours, not like a template. Definition is fully customisable, and skin safety is never compromised.

Who is not suitable for semi-permanent brows?

Semi-permanent brows may not be suitable if you are:

— Pregnant or breastfeeding
— Diabetic (uncontrolled)
— On immunosuppressant medication
— Undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
— Prone to keloid or hypertrophic scarring
— Currently experiencing active skin conditions in the brow area (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea)

If you're unsure whether any of the above applies to you, please reach out before booking. We're happy to advise.

Is there anything I should avoid before my session?

To get the best results and minimise bleeding, please avoid the following before your appointment:

— Blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen) for at least 1 week
— Alcohol for at least 24 hours
— Chemical peels or laser treatments in the brow area for at least 4 weeks
— Caffeine on the day of your session

These affect skin sensitivity and how well your skin holds pigment during the procedure.

I'm not sure what design suits me. What if I don't like it?

We design around what you already have — working with your natural brow direction and facial structure to ensure the most natural outcome, and to minimise future maintenance. Before we begin, we'll draw out the full shape and walk you through every decision: arch, thickness, tail length, and overall balance. Only when you're genuinely happy with the pre-draw do we proceed. Please take your time at this stage — once the procedure begins, we're unable to make further adjustments.

Does it hurt?

We apply a generous amount of numbing cream before we begin to minimise discomfort. Our technique works only on the upper dermis — so even if you feel something, it's minimal.

How long is the healing process? Any downtime?

You can resume your day-to-day immediately. For the first 24 hours, keep your brows dry — we'll provide plasters for showering. For 7 days, avoid heavy sweating, saunas, and swimming. Your brows may look slightly darker the day after, but they'll soften and settle within a week.

What do I need to do after my session?

A comprehensive aftercare kit will be provided at the end of your session, along with full written instructions. Following the aftercare routine closely makes a real difference to how your results heal and how long they last.

How long do results last?

Up to 1.5 years, depending on the technique, your lifestyle, and skin type. For first-timers, some fading can happen faster as the skin adjusts to something new — which is why we recommend a second session within 6 months to reinforce and perfect the results.

How often should I touch up?

Yes. First-time clients are welcome to experience the studio at $300, applicable across all semi-permanent brow styles. Please note that a touch-up session is not included at this rate — the option to add one is available during your visit, with no obligation.

What are your prices for returning clients?

Returning clients are charged at full rate with a loyalty discount — your code will be issued on your first visit. We don't recommend coming in too frequently, as healed results can look uneven if layered before they've properly faded. We recommend waiting until your brows have faded by around 90% before booking a new session.

Can I touch up at archt if I've had embroidery done at another studio?

Yes — new session rates apply.
